This is an example of parallax
scrolling, shadows and transparency,
using the WordUp Graphics Toolkit v5.0
for Watcom C/C++ 10.0. This program
requires DOS4GW.EXE to run. This kit
will be released around late March of
1995. Please note that the GIF routines
will be removed on the final release.

XLIB06p is a protected-mode subset of
the excellent XLIB mode X graphics
low-level primitives. It is written in
Watcom C++ and is presented to the
public domain by Victor B. Putz. No
documentation is included, as it is
already available in the regular xlib06
archive. Not all functions of xlib06 are
implemented. Demo program with source
included (demo1.c from xlib06).

XLIB is a library of procedures which
can greatly simplify protected mode
programming under DOS. XLIB provides
the simplest and most reliable method
for accessing extended memory from real
mode languages. A tutorial on protected
mode is included. XLIB procedures handle
mode switching, extended memory,
memory-mapped IO, interrupts, and files.
XLIB also handles CPU exceptions and
performs debugging functions.  XLIB
operates under DPMI, VCPI, XMS and clean
configurations. Both Microsoft and
Borland formats are included.
