    I am confused on how to add other message boards like AmigaNet;
    HobbyNet, etc. I know about running in init-fidonet.ini and selecting
    the correct number. After, that I am not sure what to do. Sorry, I am
    new and maybe a stupid ?.

    It's pretty well documented on the Wiki. You'll have to spend some time reading and putting some effort into it, though. I suggest you start
    here:

    https://wiki.synchro.net/howto:fidonet

    If you have more specific questions after that, come back and ask.

    I got FidoNet setup waiting for node address now.

    I am trying to figure out how to add HobbyNet. Thanks

    I got the message board setup and did areafix. I got a reply back and said had messages. However, the message board not updating the messages. Obviously, have something wrong here. I got 2 addresses 954:895/2 mystic-hobbies.com which I think is hub and my node is 954:895/71.

    Are there any notes somewhere on how to setup fsx net on synchronet? I did not see any in the "wiki". I saw your screen name in a series called back to
    the bbs. He mentioned you by name. It was a show talking about message networks on bbs systems.

    Basically all FTN message networks work the same. If you've already got FidoNet working, just make FSXnet the same way, obviously with different
    node numbers, but the concept is exactly the same. I actually find it
    easier to edit ../ctrl/sbbsecho.ini by hand, it's pretty
    straightforward. Also, although I've never used it, there is that "init-fido.js" (probably not the exactly correct name) setup script that automates much of it. Run that and pick FSX.

    If you have specific questions after that, ask them here.

    I got the message base working. I am confused on the file area part.
    Where and how do I add file part for the Node and Info pack. I was told need to make two files.

    Honestly, what you really need to do is READ some documentation.

    I tried another Netmail AmigaNet same thing. I made a file directory
    named it AmigaNet and sent a filefix to hub. I got response back said
    it was imported but to where? I don't see it. very strange as it says getting AMYLIST echoed. I am at a loss.

    Look at your 'tickit.ini' file (in /sbbs/ctrl). Then, *READ* the top
    part of the file where it explains how to set it up. Then, read it
    again. Then set it up properly.

    This is all documented well on the Wiki.

    here is my new tickit.ini:
    [AMYLIST]
    Links=
    Dir=main_amiganet
    ForceReplace=true
    path=../fido/unimported

    Please look at your ../ctrl/tickit.ini file.

    Yes, actually *READ* it.

    Check out the part near the top there, where it points out that you
    can't have both "Dir" and "Path" defined at the same time. There is
    some other interesting stuff there too. Please *READ* it.

    Also read the Wiki instructions regarding Tickit.
